The rubber feet production process is divided into three main processes.
1、Rubber foot mat normal pressure molding processing
Sponge rubber normal pressure molding process, is to contain enough foam compounding rubber into the mold cavity, and then vulcanized foam. Note that the rubber does not fill the mold cavity, leaving part of the space for the expansion of the rubber foam. Above the mold cavity, there should be an air venting hole, so that the air above the mold cavity can be discharged when the rubber expands. Before adding the rubber, first in the cavity wall pad a piece of cloth or coated with a layer of talcum powder, silicone rubber foot pad vulcanization can be the lower part of the gas escaping from the rubber. Normal pressure molding foam requires a low viscosity of the rubber material, so that the rubber material in the mold cavity fluidity, simple expansion. This method of making sponge rubber products can be open pore structure, may also be closed pore structure, depending on the type and amount of foaming agent and the vulcanization speed of rubber.
2、Rubber foot mat high-pressure molding processing
High-pressure molding method of sponge rubber is generally divided into two stages: pre-vulcanization and final vulcanization. (1) Pre-vulcanization stage, like the traditional dry rubber molding vulcanization, the rubber containing foaming agent is filled with the cavity, and after closing the mold, the rubber is pressurized at 135:L45°C and pre-vulcanized for 25:35min, and then the pressure is removed. Because the mold cavity is filled with rubber, the mold cavity is closed after the mold is closed, and the amount of gas generated by the differentiation of the foaming agent increases after the vulcanization, so that the pressure inside the bubble gradually increases. When the pressure is removed, the high pressure inside the bubble makes the bubble swell up quickly in the rubber that is not completely cross-linked, and a small closed-hole sponge occurs. The swelling rate of the rubber foam can be controlled by the formula planning and the adjustment of the vulcanization time and temperature. The final scale of the product and the complete vulcanization of the adhesive are finished at the second stage of final vulcanization.
It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the unloading of the mold must be quick, smooth and thorough; the mold cavity wall should be planned at an inclination of 15° to facilitate the demoulding of the products; the activities of the parts of the flat vulcanizer should be smooth when unloading, so that the rubber is completely free to expand. If the rubber is blocked in the process of expansion, the product may be misinterpreted or cracked. (2) Final vulcanization stage will be pre-cured sponge semi-finished products into the oven or larger mold, in higher than the pre-cured temperature of 15?25t conditions and then vulcanized 6O?90min, so that the sponge products completely vulcanized and swollen, stable to the final scale. The specific temperature and time of the final vulcanization is determined by the thickness of the product.
It should be noted that the expansion of silicone rubber footbeds to the final scale is completed in the first stage, while the second stage is to heat treat the molded sponge soles at 100?121°C for 10?24h to stabilize the scale. If the scale is not stabilized, the product will be over-shrunk and deformed when it is used.
3、Rubber foot pad successive extrusion processing
This method is the most useful and economical processing method for the preparation of sponge products in the rubber industry, is the rubber containing foaming agent through the extruder extrusion or calendering machine into a certain thickness of film, and then the extruded semi-finished products or calendered film successively through the hot air furnace or liquid vulcanization medium, microwave oven, boiling bed and other successive vulcanization equipment foaming, shaping. These successive vulcanization processes are carried out at atmospheric pressure or Kor temperature, the differentiation speed of the foaming agent is very fast, to make the rubber foaming, the vulcanization speed of the rubber material also requires very fast, silicone rubber foot pads in the formulation planning pay attention to the selection of fast vulcanization speed of the rubber material and vulcanization system.
